In 2015 Jamaica established licensensing for medical marijuana. Herb Houses is what they call dispensaries in Jamaica. 

• Jamaica will accept a US state issued medical marijuana license
• Anyone can apply for a Jamaican issued medical cannabis license. All dispensaries offer a doctor on site to approve licenses for around $15.00 US. You just need to declare that it is for "therapeutic purposes" and in about 15 minutes you will be all set. 
• Make sure you have cash with you... they do not accept credit cards.
