Cancellation and Refunds
David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including an insufficient number of participants or logistical problems (e.g., acts of God, war, strikes, etc.), which may impede trip operations. The refund of all payments as described in the paragraph below shall release David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) from any further liability. A trip cancellation due to insufficient numbers would normally occur at least a month prior to departure, unless acts of God, war, strikes, or other events impede our departure causing large numbers of participants opt to cancel participation on the journey in the last days before departure.
David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) must make substantial payments to suppliers (including providers of land travel) far in advance of the scheduled date on which we embark. If a trip is canceled due to forces beyond our control (acts of God, war, labor strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.), David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not advanced to suppliers. David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) will use its best efforts to recover advance payments as promptly as possible and will refund to you the amount recovered if any. However, David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and our use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceeding in foreign lands. This policy applies to trip cancellation by client choice following any necessary increase in trip costs.
COVID-19 WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY—IT IS A RELEASE OF YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, was declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization in March 2020. COVID-19 is highly contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact, through respiratory droplets and aerosol transmission. The U.S. State Department raised its global travel warning to the highest level, which recommends that citizens avoid all international travel, and makes clear that repatriation (returning to your home country) may not be provided and travelers may be stuck abroad. Most governments and public health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, restricted travel and congregations of groups of people. Even those destinations that allow visitors have limited or closed tourist sites and activities or may do so in the future with no announcement. It is believed that traveling increases the risk of contracting COVID-19 due to decreased social distancing, increased exposure to people who may be contagious, and lack of due care or poor sanitization standards by those around you or suppliers, among other possible reasons.
I acknowledge that I am aware of: (1) the contagious nature of COVID-19; (2) the risk that I and my travel companions may become exposed to and/or infected with COVID-19 before, during, or after travel, which may result in personal injury, financial loss, illness, permanent disability, and/or death; (3) the risk that I and/or my travel companions may become subject to mandatory quarantines or other similar measures and their related costs; and (4) the risk that my travel plans, activities, and plans to return home or to work may become interrupted, delayed, canceled, or otherwise ruined due to COVID-19. I also acknowledge that infection or exposure to COVID-19 may result from the acts, omissions, or negligence of others, including but not limited to travel providers (for example airlines, hotels, transportation companies, buses, trains, ships, tour guides, tourist site operators, and tour operators), David Gapin dba. All Inclusive Destinations and Elevated Cannabis Adventures, my travel companions, and other persons. With full knowledge of these risks, I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, to myself or the travel companions for whom I book travel, as a result of these risks.
David Gapin dba. All Inclusive Destinations, Elevating Travel and Elevated Cannabis Adventures is providing me with its travel planning and booking services. In exchange, I release, promise, and covenant not to sue, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless David Gapin dba. All Inclusive Destinations, Elevating Travel and Elevated Cannabis Adventures and any of its officers, employees, and agents from any and all liabilities, claims,
demands, lawsuits, actions, liabilities, and causes of action, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any damage, injury, death, or loss that may be sustained by me or those in my traveling party for whom I book travel, related to COVID19. I acknowledge and agree that I am releasing all claims based on the acts, omissions, or negligence of David Gapin dba. All Inclusive Destinations, Elevating Travel and Elevated Cannabis Adventures, its employees, agents, and representatives to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Payments
- A $500.00 per person deposit is required at the time of registration.
- Deposits are non-refundable
- All payments are by PayPal, Visa or MasterCard, Amex, and Discover. We cannot make exceptions to this policy.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Any cancellation will result in a total loss of funds.
- We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so your deposit is refunded in full).
- Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans.
- All cancellations must be made to David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) in writing and any refund requests must be made in writing to David Gapin (Elevating Travel/AIDestinations) within 30 days of the return date. Please send written requests to [email protected]
